For the next tour 2009 Nicole Nau & Luis Pereyra have invited the excellent musician and interpret and author of a lots of golden LP: Horacio Banegas. In all productions of ‘El Sonido de mi Tierra’ his music was part of the show. Now has come the moment to see and listen him live. He will be accompained by his son Jana Banegas.

“El Color de la Chacarera†is the work what has given the name to the new show 2009 – El Color de mi Baile - .
“El Color de la Chacarera†has anthological charakter. Horacio Banegas is an internarional and national recognized artist. Never he has gone away of the roots of culture. They are the basic of his work As like Luis Pereyra his home provinz is Santiago del Estero. Born in 1954. Living in Buenos Aires and Santiago del Estero. Staring his career, in 1965, together with his brother Coco Banegas he forms the Duo Banegas. later he gets member of the groop “Los Tobasâ€, with whom he records 4 LPs. He is author of the “Misa Santiagueñaâ€. 1990 he realizes the musical work “Mensaje de Chacareraâ€. “Los Santiagueños Sean Unidoâ€, “Mi Origen y Mi Lugar†and “Hermandad con la Tierra†are more of his well known works. Belgium and Spain are Contries he visits in his tours, singing in several Univeristies.
“El Arte de las inmediaciones†(Art and Thinking) is a project, which he leeds at the University of Santiago del Estero.

His work is not only a mirrow of traditional music, but also a beginning of defeloping it without loosing the roots. Horacio Banegas is not only interpret, he is also author. nearly never he interprets pieces which he has not written himself.
