El Sonido de Mi Tierra II - Personalisimo is a personal view on Tango and Folklore, expressed in dance, music and poetry, rhythm, percussion and sounds. Presented in four acts. A declaration of love to Argentina, its country, people and habits. A performance where Tango and Folklore of Argentina finds their union in a very actual esthetic. Since 2005 the great choreographer Julio López is involved in this project working on the dramatic part. The music on tour is in charge of Quique Ponce.

A moment of the performance......The sound of the provinz, a sensitive Milonga. The sound of poor quaters along the River Plate. Luis in a black suite, with a black hat what halve covers his face. Nicole in a flowerd scirt and a black top. A dark tango. He surounds her, she falls back. But lately gets infolved with him.
The sound of the city Buenos Aires. Luis in a Dinner Jacket. Nicole in a dark blue dress. Danced conventions. The sound of the dance floor. A slowly intime tango. They move as in slow motion. Time is setting still. They turn around each other. Face to face. It seams that only the two are left, just this one couple. Nobody else is living on earth. Old times become life again.
Than we go on travelling in time and distance. The argentine variation of the tap dance. Later a Zamba. Danced in Distance. But as senual as the Tango. Modern peaces of Tango and Milonga.
And at the end the sound of a man from Santiago. The home province of Luis. Pure rhythm, beats on the bombos, the argentine drums. Savage and powerful. The final, the great celebration of argentine sounds and rhythms.
